I'm trying to begin knitting again after many years and have a really dumb problem. No matter how I cast on the stitches end up twisted. I try long tail, knit cast on and the whole lot. Any suggestions?

hey! a good way to combat that, is to... i'm sorry to say, restart the project. knit one row in one color and and the second row in the other, that way the changes are subtler.

i'm knitting a sweater in caramel/camel color and there's a SLIGHT SLIGHT difference. in my sweater, i personally can not see the difference between one row or another, but with the balls side by side, you can tell one's slightly yellower and the other slightly redder.

I'm thinking of knitting a little sweater for Lexi out of that wool yarn, cause I'm getting tired of making bags. Would you be able to remember to wash in cold water delicate cycle? Otherwise it will be a felted sweater. that's very small.
